What is Stage Heat?

Stage Heat helps concert-goers turn setlists into playlists. You search archived setlists from past shows, turn them into a playlist, and export to Spotify or Apple Music. Use the Stage Heat iPhone app from the App Store or the web app at www.stageheat.app. Optional bar playlist links let you share a preview with venue staff.

Do I need an account?

You can browse and search setlists as a guest. To connect streaming services, export playlists, sync to multiple apps, or use Stage Heat Plus, sign in with Apple, Google, or email on the Accounts tab. Guests cannot purchase Plus.

Setlists tab vs Discover — what is the difference?

Setlists is for setlists from concerts that already happened — search by artist (and optional city, venue, or date) using public concert setlist data, then export. Discover shows upcoming and nearby live music, trending artists, and follows; it helps you find shows to attend, not replace setlist search.

Export on a setlist vs the Sync tab — which should I use?

Start on Setlists: open a show and tap Export to create a playlist on one streaming service (free plan). The Sync tab is Stage Heat Plus — one job sends that same concert to every connected app, or matches an existing playlist title across Spotify or Apple Music. After export, Plus users can tap Open Sync — the show is prefilled. Sync works with any playlist on your connected services — send a concert everywhere, or use playlist match to align an existing title across apps.

What is Stage Heat Plus?

Plus is a paid subscription for power users. Free signed-in users connect one streaming service and export from Setlists to that app. Plus unlocks the Sync tab: multi-provider concert jobs (e.g. Spotify and Apple Music together) and playlist match to keep the same playlist title aligned across apps.

What are bar playlist proposals (/p/ links)?

From a setlist you can create a bar proposal — a public link like www.stageheat.app/p/your-slug that venue staff can open in a browser without an account. They hear a preview of the suggested playlist. Fans share the link digitally (message, email, social); there is no print QR requirement.

How do I connect Spotify or Apple Music?

Open Accounts → Connect next to the service you use. Spotify opens its own sign-in page, so Stage Heat never sees your password. For Apple Music, allow access when Apple asks. If export says reconnect, use Accounts → Reconnect for that service.

Where does setlist data come from?

Setlists come from community-sourced concert setlist archives where available. Setlists reflect reported past shows, not guaranteed future setlists. Stage Heat matches songs to each streaming catalog; some tracks may be skipped if no match is found.

What is name-union sync (Plus)?

If you already have a playlist with the same name on two or more connected services (for example "Pre-show" on Spotify and Apple Music), name-union finds that title on each app and adds missing tracks. It does not pull concert setlists — use Export or setlist sync for concert playlists.

Is Stage Heat on the App Store or Google Play?

Stage Heat 1.0 is on the App Store for iPhone and on the web at www.stageheat.app. An Android app is planned for a later release.

How do I get help or report a problem?

Email contact@stageheat.app. Include what you tried (artist, setlist, streaming service) and whether you are on the iPhone app, web desktop, or mobile browser.
